What makes this Studio unique
The location is wonderful and our guests enjoy the period charm of the building. It's always nice to take the cute little lift to the fourth floor. The outlook from the flat over the rooftops of the West End is divine. The location is amazing. You really are in the center of it all.

Absolutely great
Great location, great place!
Great property in the heart of London!
I recently stayed at this property for a getaway with my sister in law. We booked the property based on location and were not disappointed! The building is complete with a charming lift that adds traditional touch to the experience. Though others have mentioned the construction in the area (and next door) and the loud nightlife, we were not bothered by this as keeping the bathroom door helped to minimize the party noise - and the construction was over by bedtime. The close proximity to the underground station and walking distance to all key attractions, dining and entertainment options was ideal. The property manager was responsive to all inquiries, flexible when our itinerary changed and seemed keen to meet our needs. The flat was what we expected for the cost, and despite a few dated amenities, I would recommend this flat to others wanting a getaway to lovely London.
Thank you. I'm so pleased you really enjoyed the flat and its location .I hope to welcome you back on your next trip to London.
Great location
Great location but building work is being done in building which means lots of noise and dust. Construction workers in and out of the building all day. Very poor plumbing toilet hardly flushed and huge problems with shower. Towels were like sandpaper the whole apartment is very tired and bad damp smell in bathroom kitchen utensils and bed linen needs replacing
Thank you for your comments. I'm sorry to hear that you didn't like the flat too much. It's a building from the 1890's with Victorian pipes to match, hence why the flush isn't as strong as new builds .You have to allow a few minutes before trying to flush it again.I wish you had contacted me during your actual stay and I would have explained this to you. I'm now in the habit of telling guests this! They are doing some much needed work to the communal parts and I wasn't aware of when they were started this otherwise I would have told you about it . I've reminded the cleaner to ensure the towels are put in the dryer and not air dryed ,as that would explain why they would be rougher than they should be. I do hope you'll give the flat another chance on your next visit.I'm pleased you at least enjoyed the great location and I hope you took some wonderful memories back with you.
London visit
Location, location, location. Walking distance to the center of London. The flat has a lot of construction in and around and the accommodations are basic but who spends much time in the flat when you have all of London to explore!
Thank you. You were both lovely to have staying at the flat. I'm pleased you really enjoyed your time .I know the flat is small but I hope I do try to make it as comfortable as possible .I hope to welcome you back on your next trip to London.
Right in the thick of cool stuff
Comparing properties is always tough, it all depends on expectations. This property was awesome for our stay in London. I have come to expect smaller showers, smaller beds, and such in Europe, compared to the US. Nothing wrong with that, just differences. This flat was very close to an Underground station, so getting around London was easy. It was close to the theaters, so seeing a show was on the menu. Close to restaurants and pubs, we walked everywhere. Had the typical small shower and a US sized double bed, not the Italian “double”. Thankfully, my wife and I like to sleep close. Elevator was small, but worked great. It was the old fashioned type, where you open and close the gates. Noise from the street would not have been excessive, except London was having a heat wave, and being close to the bars and theaters, means late night patrons, and we had the windows wide open. We used ear plugs just fine. Being 5 floors up, you probably would not get the noise with the windows shut.
Everything in this flat was clean, we really enjoyed our 4 night stay. The check in n was easy, the host gave us a great restaurant recommendation, plenty of towels, a washing machine, fridge, stove. We had a lot of fun in the local area. Hope to come back!
Thank you so much. I'm so pleased you really enjoyed your time in the West End!
Great location
I really enjoyed my stay here, but be aware that there is quite a bit of construction going on. And people also bar-hop in SoHo till all hours. It can be a bit noisy. Buy some earplugs. Otherwise, it offers a tremendous location in the middle of everything. The flat isn’t gigantic, but with all that’s around you, how much time are you really gonna spend hanging out there? My favorite feat
Thank you. I'm pleased you enjoyed your time in Central London and found the flat suited your needs.I know it's not a huge flat but I hope it was good value for money for such a Central location..I hope to welcome you back on your next visit to London.
Map
Located on Charing Cross Road, next to both Soho and Covent Garden. The nearest underground station is Tottenham Court Road, a 2 minute walk away.
Our spacious, bright ,south facing studio is walking distance to the many tourist attractions of Leicester Square, Piccadilly Circus, theatres, Covent Garden, the National Portrait Gallery, Chinatown, shopping on Oxford Street, Regent Street and Bond Street.
The flat is opposite Foyles Books ,which is a must visit. You'll still find numerous bookshops on Charing Cross Road.84 CHX still exists/no longer a bookshop though
A vast choice of restaurants are in this area and Charing Cross Road has numerous coffee shops...The British Museum is a 5 minute walk and a further 10 minutes will get you into the heart of Bloomsbury or Fitzrovia.
For music lovers London's 'Tin Pan Alley' is on the next street. Denmark St is a treasure trove for those wishing to buy anything from a guitar pick to a violin
This is one of the best locations to stay in Central London.

Picnic in a London Park....Our flat is within walking distance from some lovely public parks and gardens. The best one being St James which is about a 10 minute walk away from the flat. However, there are numerous Garden Squares in Bloomsbury that are lovely to relax in on a Summer or Spring day. There's a great hidden garden oasis just behind Shaldon Mansions. St Giles public garden is beautiful all year round and very quiet. This is a lovely place to relax in.
The nearby shopping on Oxford St and Charing Cross Road will be a real treat for people who love to shop until they drop. From high end shops to the two very large budget Primarks, one will find something to take back home with them. After a morning strolling aroud the West End a special treat of a full English Afternnoon Tea will sure to become a special memory of your time in London. Yes, it can be somewhat expensive but it should be something that should be tried if you have the time and budget. The Ritz is by far the best in London. The Savoy, The Dorchester,Browns, and Clariddge's are all expensive but worth it.The National Portrait Gallery,The Wallace Collection and the Langham are more affordable and equally as good. Fortnum and Mason on nearby Picacadilly is also worth it. Their food hall is amazing/and even if you don't have time for the full Afternoon Tea you could buy some tea to take back with you. The tin cans ar simply stunning in design.A great gift for those back home. You will find that a few of the hotels near the British Museum also offer Afternoon Tea/but the ones listed above are far better. One exception is Bea's of Bloomsbury which is well worth a visit.
