We had a wonderful family weekend celebrating a 65th birthday. Would highly recommend
The house was perfect. Kitchen well equipped. Many cozy spots to curl up with a good book. Picton is our favourite place to spend a relaxing weekend..The nasty weather did not dampen the amazing time we had exploring Main Street and some great restaurants.
Beautiful Home - perfect for girls weekend
Six women loved the comfort and convenience of this lovely home. Close enough to downtown Picton to easily walk and explore while being central for exploring and wine tours.
Perfectly charming in Picton.
A wonderful old house that retains the 19th century historical charm with all modern conveniences. The house is an easy walk downtown for dinner and shopping and a short drive to Sandbanks and other county sites.
Thanksgiving weekend
Our family enjoyed a memorable weekend in The White Rabbit century home this past weekend. Check in was a breeze, and the house was immaculately clean and tidy. Julie left us winery and brewery coupons as well as a bottle of wine and chocolates! Great communication beforehand, and the beds and living areas were comfortable and well thought out. We enjoyed the front porch, ample parking space, backyard with Adirondack chairs and the side patio with the barbecue. We cooked a turkey dinner and ate in the large dining room, and enjoyed playing board games and card games at the coffee table in the living room. The White Rabbit is within walking distance to grocery, LCBO, and all the shops and restaurants of Picton. Thank you for an enjoyable and fun family weekend in Prince Edward County!
Thank you Michelle! I’m glad you and your family enjoyed your stay in The County and The White Rabbit Guesthouse. And thank you for taking such great care of our place.
We would love to see you return anytime!
Best regards,
Brian and Julie
Great girls getaway
What a wonderful home to share a weekend with girl friends. Julie could not have been accommodating. Her home was well equipped, sparkling clean and comfortable. Thank you Julie for sharing your home.

Comfortable, Convenient and Charming
This home is immaculate and beautifully decorated from top to bottom. It is well equipped by the owners and they are wonderful to deal with. It is the perfect spot to stay while you enjoy the many places to experience in Picton and the surrounding County.
Map
The White Rabbit Guest House is located in the heart of Prince Edward County on Main Street, Picton within easy walking distance to the downtown where you will find grocery stores (Metro Sobey's), an LCBO, a pharmacy, and numerous shops, art galleries, pubs, cafes and restaurants.
Within town are parkland trails and a short drive away is Macaulay Mountain which offers trails for hiking, mountain biking, snow shoeing and cross-country skiing.
Biking is popular with the Millennium Trail coursing though the County and access to this trail is very close to our guesthouse.
The County is home to over 40 wineries, many of which boast award winning wines and which are all within easy driving distance from Picton (10-20 minutes).
The small towns of Bloomfield and Wellington are approximately 10 and 20 minutes drive from Picton and also offer an excellent selection of boutiques, galleries, cafes and restaurants.
Within the County there are 3 beautiful provincial parks and several conservation areas which are all easily accessible. The Sandbanks Provincial Park is a 15 minute drive southwest of Picton and home to one of the largest sand bar and dune systems in the world. A 15 minute drive east on the Upper Glenora Road takes you to Lake on the Mountain Provincial Park and North Beach Provincial Park is a 20 minute drive west of Picton.
There is so much more to see and do in the County and your hosts Julie and Brian would be happy to speak to you further about this during your stay.
