The Nature Center also provides public education programs, including hikes, campfire talks, and craft workshops. But what about the culture vultures in your group? Wet and wild—adventures both on water and land
Your Ephraim vacation rental will always place you near Peninsula State Park, home to 8 miles of shoreline. Spend your days in the park exploring its extensive hiking and biking trails, or try your hand at its 18-hole golf course. But a lot of the park's activities take place in the water, including opportunities for jet skiing, kayaking, paddleboarding, or swimming. You can also rent a pontoon boat or charter a sailboat for an afternoon of sightseeing. Breathtaking bluffs meet winding waterways
The lush and drenched landscape of Ephraim includes a host of small, mostly undeveloped islands located just off the shores of Eagle Harbor, in the peaceful waters of Green Bay. On the east side of the peninsula is the expansive Lake Michigan. Peninsula Park itself is home to marshes, wetlands, ponds, and lakes. With all this water around, it's no surprise the peninsula shelters approximately 125 different bird species, including red-winged blackbirds, orioles, and warblers. But the region's most dramatic feature may be the peninsula's 225-foot limestone bluffs, which you can view during sightseeing boat tours.
