Running hot and cold in seasonal Cambridge
Cambridge has a humid continental climate. Summers are hot, humid, and rainy, while winters are generally snowy and cold. Spring and fall are crisp but short, and the region's striking foliage is a popular sight during the autumn months. Average summer highs peak in the low 80s in July and August, but temperatures regularly climb into the 90s. Winter temps range from an average low of 22 degrees in January to an average December high of 41. The cold, snowy winters are the slowest season for the city, and rates on Cambridge vacation rentals are usually at their lowest during this time of year.
